There is something so special about the Fourth of July--the juicy watermelon, charred hamburgers, fireworks, parades, swimming, sunshine, & patriotic pups. It is my favorite holiday. This was my first one in TX in 3 years. We spent the morning taking family photos since my sister in-law and kids were in town from New Zealand. Then we went back to Highland Park for the parade. it was the best parade around! They threw out tons of candy, Central Market gave out baby watermelons, there was also free Steel City Pops, lemonade, popcorn, frisbees, and more! We ended the day at my parents' shooting fireworks off on their land. It was a beautiful time and I wish it lasted more than 24 hours!
I had wedding photo overload last year, so I waited to post the photos of my actual big day. I can't believe it has already been a year! Here are some of my favorite shots.

We've had one too many snow days these last few days and I'm anxious to be by the pool/beach soon. So anxious, in fact, that I booked tickets to Florida for our one year anniversary (!!!) over Memorial Day weekend. Here are some trends continuing this year for swimwear-- a mix of price points and styles included. I want to buy so many of these!
